Since 2007, Unique Optometry has been a cornerstone of eye care in San Francisco's Mission District. What began as Dr. June Chun, Optometrist has evolved into Unique Optometry—a practice built on a foundation of trust, expertise, and genuine care for our community.

Our practice is now led by Dr. Snow Hu, who brings fresh expertise and a commitment to staying at the forefront of optometric care. Together with founding optometrist Dr. June Chun, we've created a practice that honors our legacy while embracing innovation in eye health technology and treatment approaches.

Dr. Snow Hu

Director & Lead Optometrist

Dr. Snow Hu, O.D.

Native to the Bay Area, Dr. Hu is the director and lead optometrist at Unique Optometry. She has been practicing optometry since 2022, bringing a fresh perspective and deep expertise to the practice.

Dr. Hu earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology from the University of California, Davis.

Dr. June Chun, O.D.

Dr. June Chun is the visionary founder who established our practice in 2007. Originally known as Dr. June Chun, Optometrist, the practice has now evolved into Unique Optometry while maintaining the same commitment to excellence that has defined her career.

A proud graduate of UC Berkeley's School of Optometry, Dr. Chun has dedicated nearly two decades to serving the San Francisco community. Her extensive experience and patient-centered approach have made her a trusted name in eye care throughout the Mission District.
